41st Directors’ Conference of SoP was held on 12 January 2026 at Headquarter SoP, attended by Directors of all four regional offices. During the conference, Directors presented updates on ongoing field activities with relation to updating map sheets of CFY along with extra-departmental projects being undertaken by them. Various agenda items were discussed in detail including proposed policy amendments, modernization of workflow schedule for CFY and NFY and adoption of advanced geospatial technologies to enhance efficiency and service delivery by SoP. An update was delivered to all Directors about progress made so far with respect to NSDI. Surveyor General highlighted efforts being made in this regard along with those for modernization of SoP. Directors were encouraged to actively contribute standardized geospatial data, strengthen inter-agency coordination and support the development of NSDI in respective provinces. A major highlight of the conference was the discussion on the proposed HRD for SoP through better courses and other trainings for capacity building. Surveyor General of Pakistan appreciated the constructive participation of all Directors and urged them to lead our effort in all domains proactively in order to achieve the desired outcomes
