Survey of Pakistan

Introduction

Survey Training Institute (STI) was established in 1986 in sector H-8/2 Islamabad in a spacious, separate and independent building on an area of about 22 acres. STI is the sole public sector institute equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for training in Surveying and Mapping, Remote Sensing and GIS.

Regular and refresher courses both in Technical and Administrative matters are conducted in the institute.

Since the year 2008, courses for Private Students are also being conducted, benefiting a wider audience.

The institute is affiliated with Punjab Board of Technical Education (PBTE) Lahore since 1999 for:

Diploma in Land Surveying - 1 Year Certificate in Land Surveying - 1 Year

Admission

Various Courses of different duration are offered to private students

Qualification required for all such courses is SSC

These courses are advertised for public through National News Papers

Students are selected through entry test (SSC level)

Any student seeking admission will have to submit an undertaking that he will not involve in any political and sectarian activities
